UC Santa Barbara sweeps titles at Fresno St. Classic

UC Santa Barbara won the Fresno State Classic on Tuesday after a 3-over 287 in the final round at San Joaquin Country Club in Fresno, Calif.
The Gauchos won by three over Nevada at the par-71, 6,776-yard course. BYU finished in third at 35-over 887. In a tie for fourth, Loyola Marymount and San Francisco finished at 39 over.
Senior Jordan Epstein shot a 3-under 68 in the final round to claim medalist honors. Epstein was tied for sixth heading into the final round. He finished at 1-over 214.
Cal Poly’s Camden Price, who led after the second round, finished in second, one-shot back. Nevada’s Rhyne Jones and Brian Knoll and San Francisco’s Cory McElyea tied for this at 5-over 218.
