Maide launches new Highland Pant

Maide's Highland Pant

Maide, launching its first line for spring 2014, combines golf’s traditional fashion with modern profiles and fabrication to create the first contemporary heritage golf brand.

Maide, the Gaelic word for club, is for style of the past, present and future.

“It’s the answer to what we see missing in the golf world as it relates to fit, style and functionality,” said Ian Velardi, Maide's Director of Design.

Maide, the golf apparel division of Bonobos, uses “stealth technology.” The clothing won’t look techy, but the performance quality in the make the polo or pant is there.

The Highland Pant is constructed with a breathable performance poly-fabric material. The pant also includes a gel waistband inset to keep shirts tucked in throughout the swing.

The polos are made from a poly-cotton blend. Because of the poly-yarns in the shirt, it has technical quality for breathability and moisture wicking.

All of Maide’s clothing has a trimmer fit and are fashion forward for golf.

All clothing is available at maidegolf.com and specialty green grass accounts nationwide. The Highland Pant is available in sizes 28-40 waist and inseam lengths of 30, 32, 34, 36. Cost: $108.
