Kent State pulls ahead at Gator Women's Invite

Kent State used a 1-under 279 in Saturday's second round of the SunTrust Gator Women's Invite to grab a five-shot lead at Mark Bostick Golf Club in Gainesville, Fla.

The 38th-ranked Golden Flashes are 15 over through two rounds while No. 30 Ohio State is second at 20 over. No. 27 Texas A&M, No. 10 Arizona and No. 29 Virginia are tied for third at 21 over.

Individually, Marijosse Navarro of Texas A&M leads at even par after carding 70-69 on Saturday. Florida's Camilla Hedberg, Kent State's Natalie Goodson and Virginia's Elizabeth Brightwell are tied for second at 1 over.
