The Arizona Wildcats jumped into first place after a tournament-best 5-over 285 on the final day of the SunTrust Gator Women's Invitational.

Arizona edged out Kent State with a one-stroke victory, posting a 26-over 866 for the tournament. Two golfers for Arizona posted top 10s at the Mark Bostick Golf Course in Gainesville, Fla., including Jessica Vasilic (T-2) and Lindsey Weaver (T-8).

The win is the first for Arizona this season.

Miami's Daniela Darquea took medalist honors with a 4-over 214. The rookie started her round Sunday on No. 9, and went on to make birdie six of her first seven holes en route to a 3-under 67. She jumped from T-28 to No. 1 on the leaderboard during the final round.

“With how my final round started, I knew I had a chance to win today,” Darquea said in a release. “I tried my best to stay calm and put myself in a good position throughout the round.”

The win makes two in a row for Darquea, who won the Hurricane Invitational in a playoff earlier this month.

Arizona (26 over), Kent State (27 over) and Ohio State (35 over) made up the top three. Miami and Texas A&M tied for fourth at 44 over.
