Georgia State and Virginia Tech are tied for the lead of Furman Intercollegiate after the second round at the par-72, 6,994-yard course.
Virginia Tech led after the first round, but Georgia State shot a 7-under 281 in the second round compared to Virginia Tech’s 5-under 283. Both teams are at 8-under 568. Kennesaw State is in third at 6 under.
Virginia Tech’s Trevor Cone has a one-shot lead on the individual leaderboard after rounds of 66-69 at Furman University Golf Course in Greenville, S.C. Cone is looking for his second consecutive individual win after winning the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular on March 16.
Georgia State’s J.J. Grey sits in second, one-shot back of Cone at 8 under. Kennesaw State’s Austin Vick is in third at 6 under.
