Here's a quick glance at what happened Saturday at each NCAA men's golf regional – with links to the in-depth recap on each:

Auburn (Ala.) Regional

  • Team winner: Alabama (11-under 853)
  • Individual winner: Marco Iten, Austin Peay State (8-under 208)
  • Also moving on: 2. Kennesaw State (875), 3. Auburn (878), 4. Virginia Tech (882), 5. Texas (884)
  • Individual advancing: Marco Iten, Austin Peay State (8-under 208)

Alabama took care of business, winning its eighth title of the season behind five top-30 performances, including Cory Whitsett's runner-up performance. Much of the excitement came over the fifth position, where Texas held off Louisville, UNC-Greensboro and New Mexico to advance.

Columbia (Mo.) Regional

  • Team winner: Oklahoma State (33-under 831)
  • Individual winner: Emilio Cuartero, Missouri (11-under 205)
  • Also moving on: 2. Arkansas (836), 3. Missouri (837), T-4. LSU, Iowa State (849)
  • Individual advancing: Denny McCarthy, Virginia (7-under 209)

Oklahoma State fired its second 16-under 272 to cruise to the regional victory over Arkansas. Meanwhile, Iowa State manages to earn spot despite being ranked No. 43 in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings.

Eugene (Ore.) Regional

  • Team winner: Stanford (13-over 276-282-295-853)
  • Individual winner: Patrick Rodgers, Stanford (6 under, 66-67-72-204)
  • Also moving on: 2. Oregon (854), 3. Oklahoma (860), 4. Houston (875), 5. South Carolina (880)
  • Individual advancing: Chris Robb, Chattanooga (2-over 67-72-73-212)

Stanford held off Oregon behind Patrick Rodgers' 11th career victory, tying Tiger Woods' school record in the process. Both Oregon and Oklahoma made significant runs at the Cardinal on Saturday, but simply ran out of holes.

Raleigh (N.C.) Regional

  • Team winner: Georgia Tech (27-under 825)
  • Individual winner: Jonathan Sanders, Washington (10-under 203)
  • Also moving on: Teams – 2. Washington (842), 3. Texas A&M (849), 4. Kentucky (856), 5. Florida State (860). Individual – Cyrus Stewart, Wake Forest (209).

Behind four players in the top 10 – and five in the top 15 – Georgia Tech rolled to its first Regional title since 2002. The Yellow Jackets are currently ranked No. 2 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings. Washington's Jonathan Sanders becomes the Huskies fourth individual champ since 2010.

San Antonio Regional

  • Individual winner: Julien Brun, TCU (10-under 206)
  • Also moving on: 2. Georgia State (866), 3. Vanderbilt (867), 4. SMU (868), 5. UCLA (869).
  • Individual advancing: Ricardo Gouveia, Central Florida (3-under 213).

Third-ranked Georgia took care of business at Briggs Ranch, picking up a 13-shot victory to move to Kansas at the end of next week. The biggest surprise out of this regional was Julien Brun's decision to play a PGA Tour event instead of the NCAA Championship which he qualified for with the regional victory.

Sugar Grove (Ill.) Regional

  • Team winner: Illinois (16-over 880)
  • Individual winner: Brian Campbell, Illinois (5-under 211)
  • Also moving on: 2. UAB (18-over 882), 3. Purdue (30-over 894), T4. Southern California (32-over 896) & T4. California (32-over 896)
  • Individual advancing: Taylor Pendrith, Kent State (2-over 218)

Illinois won its second consecutive regional title by outlasting upstart UAB on Saturday, clearing the Blazers by two shots. Meanwhile, Cal will make the trip to Prairie Dunes after finishing T-4.
