There's a three-way tie at the top through one round of the Thunderbird International Junior. Mika Liu, Maddie Szeryk and Angel Yin each posted a 2-under 70 through the first 18 holes of the Scottsdale, Ariz., tournament.

Liu was propelled to a tie for first after making a rare eagle on the Grayhawk Golf Club's par-4 14th. Both Yin and Liu are class-of-2017 golfers.

Andrea Lee, who recently seized the top spot in the Golfweek/Sagarin Junior Rankings, is tied for fourth with Shelly Shin of Australia after shooting an even-par 72.

Nicole Morales, the defending champion, is tied for 22nd at 7-over 79.
