With its starting lineup intact, the California men's team returned to its old ways, strolling to a runaway victory Tuesday at the St. Mary's Invitational.

Cal, which won 11 of 14 stroke-play starts last year en route to a semifinal finish at the NCAA Championship and was No. 1 in Golfweek's preseason rankings for 2013-14, opened its fall season with a disappointing fourth-place finish at the Gopher Invitational.
