Kelly Kraft, 22, Denton, Texas: Recent SMU graduate is on a roll: Texas State Amateur, Trans-Miss and U.S. Amateur titles cap big summer.

Patrick Cantlay, 19, Los Alamitos, Calif.): Can play on golf’s biggest stages, with four top 25s in Tour events this year, including low amateur at the U.S. Open, a second-round 60 at the Travelers Championship and a T-9 at the Canadian Open.
Harris English, 22, Thomasville, Ga.: Won Southern Amateur and Nationwide Tour Children’s Hospital events in back-to-back weeks; was 3-0-1 at Callaway Collegiate Match Play and 2-1 at NCAA.
Russell Henley, 22, Macon, Ga.: Should make a good partner with former Georgia teammate English; won Nationwide Tour Stadion Classic in April and was 3-0 in NCAA match play.
Patrick Rodgers, 19, Avon, Ind.: Earned his place among best amateurs with victory in Porter Cup and top 5s at Players, Northeast and Terra Cotta amateurs.
Nathan Smith, 33, Pittsburgh: Three-time U.S. Mid-Amateur champ brings maturity and experience; was 2-0 while teaming with Peter Uihlein in foursomes at 2009 Walker Cup.
Peter Uihlein, 21, Orlando, Fla.: 2010 U.S. Amateur champion and 2011 Ben Hogan Award winner went 4-0-0 to lead U.S. victory in ’09 Walker Cup.
Chris Williams, 20, Moscow, Idaho: Won Sahalee Players and Pacific Coast this summer and set Western Amateur medalist record at 16 under; was 2-2-0 at this year’s Palmer Cup.
Jordan Spieth, 18, Dallas: Two-time U.S. Junior Amateur champ has made two Tour cuts, runner-up at Jones Cup and quarterfinalist at U.S. Amateur.

Steven Brown, 24, Chobham, England: Made team with late burst by winning English Amateur and finishing runner-upin European Amateur. Has matured into a good player.
James Byrne, 22, Banchory, Scotland: Four-year Arizona State player finished runner-up in 2010 British Amateur. Strong links player.
Paul Cutler, 22, Portstewart, Northern Ireland: Ireland’s No. 1 amateur won twice this year, plays links well and tied for 21st in Irish Open.

Stiggy Hodgson, 22, Sunningdale, England: Best GB&I player from 2009 loss at Merion. A little bulldog with a big heart.
Tom Lewis, 20, Welwyn Garden City, England: GB&I’s best player shared first-round lead at Open Championship en route to silver medal. Should play all four sessions in Aberdeen.
Rhys Pugh, 17, Pontypridd, Wales: Great junior record and hasn’t looked out of place against older opposition, either.
Jack Senior, 23, Morecambe, England: Strong player as he proved by winning this year’s Lytham Trophy in horrible weather. Should play foursomes with regular England partner Andrew Sullivan.
Michael Stewart, 21, Troon, Scotland: Former ETSU golfer is a solid links and match-play competitor who reached the British Amateur final. Plays with confidence.
Andrew Sullivan, 24, Nuneaton, England: Scottish Stroke Play champion is a steady, highly confident performer.
