A short par 4, Royal Lytham's 13th is a little tricky, but one you can capitalize on. Again the superintendent's shed is to the left.

Last time I was here, Ernie Els was standing in the top left corner of Royal Lytham's practice greem with Ricki Roberts waiting to hear if Adam Scott was going to miss his par putt, which he did.  It all looks so different now with out the stands.
A look at one of the nastier bunkers at Royal Lytham.  Not all are as difficult as this, but with more than  200 bunkers on the course, it's not a picnic.
