VIDEO: Rickie Fowler scores $1 million ace for Ernie Els’ charity; crowd goes wild

If you’re curious about Rickie Fowler’s charitable abilities, well one shot on Monday proved that they’re pretty good.

The 27-year-old was at Old Palm Golf Club for the Cigar Aficionado-Wine Spectator Pro-Am – a pro-am event for Ernie Els’ charity, Els for Autism. All players on hand got a shot to win $1 million for Els’ charity if they could score a hole-in-one on the 19th hole.

Up stepped Fowler, and from 111 or 113 yards (depending on the account), he delivered:

Let’s just say the crowd at Old Palm was pretty excited. Especially Els, as you can see below:

Oh, and Fowler, as reported by Tim Rosaforte, wasn’t even wearing golf shoes or using his own club (Luke Donald’s pitching wedge officially recorded the ace).

Pretty cool moment, Rickie.

Wow…that was cool! #ElsForAutism
