Well, I’m sure everybody knows by now, but just in case you haven’t heard, I had wrist surgery on March 8 that effectively ended my rookie year on the PGA Tour.
Last week was an interesting week for me. As I said in my last diary, I was looking forward to going to Mexico to play at the Mayakoba Golf Classic.
It was another close call for me making the cut. I played really solid after the first round at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, shooting 68 at Pebble and 69 at Monterey Peninsula CC.
My off week in the Los Angeles area was very productive. Travis Mathew hooked me up with some really sweet clothes for the next several months and Todd Anderson and I put in some quality work on my swing and putting.
I will be writing a weekly diary about my experiences on and off the course as a PGA Tour rookie. Along with Chris Wilson, who is also writing a diary for Golfweek.com, you will get a good view of our life on Tour.
