Cassie Stein joined Golfweek in September of 2012 as an Assistant Editor. She grew up in Lewiston, N.Y., and graduated from Robert Morris University, where she majored in journalism, and played two years on the women’s golf team. Prior to joining Golfweek, Stein interned in the communications department for both the AJGA and the USGA. She is actively involved with the Porter Cup, which is held at her home course of Niagara Falls CC. Besides golf, she likes to spend time with her family, travel and watch hockey.
