Jeff Babineau

Jeff Babineau has been at Golfweek since September 1998, and became editor of the magazine in January 2008. Before joining Golfweek, Babineau spent 13 years at the Orlando Sentinel, where he covered the NHL, NFL and golf. (The golf beat perked up when a rookie named Tiger Woods moved to town in August 1996). Babineau is a 1984 graduate of Florida Southern College, where his classmates included two-time U.S. Open champion Lee Janzen, near-Open champion Rocco Mediate, and Marco Dawson (a fraternity brother). He enjoys spending time with his family and favorite past time is watching his three boys play baseball.
