In his role as assistant managing editor, Kevin Adams makes assignments on the college beat, edits stories, compiles notebooks and writes headlines and captions for the magazine. A 1989 graduate of the University of South Carolina, Adams was a sports editor for 13 years at three daily newspapers in the Carolinas before joining Golfweek as assistant managing editor in 2002. He is married with four children and lives in Orlando, Fla. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf with his sons and coaching youth baseball.
