Junior Diary: Making a U.S. Am run
Hope everyone has been well. I had a very eventful week in a place that I never thought golf would take me. I learned that University Place, Washington, is a really cool place.
Junior diary: Talkin’ Junior PGA and U.S. Am
The Junior PGA Championship was really a special event, especially for me as it was held in my home state of Indiana. It was a little different being so close to home for such a big event, but I think I could get used to it. It was nice to have a few more family and friends come watch me play.
Junior diary: Mohawks, Canon Cup and Jr. PGA
The 2010 Canon Cup was an awesome experience. Even though the East lost, it was certainly one of the most memorable weeks of my junior golf career.
Junior diary: Reflecting on the Southern Am
This past week was hot everywhere in the United States and I know I certainly experienced it in Birmingham, Ala.
Junior diary: Rodgers takes second at ToC
These last two weeks are the reason I love tournament golf. I love being in the hunt, and playing when the entire tournament is on the line.
Junior diary: Winning the state championship
It was an eventful week for me as we had our Indiana High School State Golf Championship. Heading into the week, our team was looking to defend our state championship title from last season.
Junior diary: A U.S. Open dream dashed
I hope everyone had a great week. I had a good week of practice in preparation for my U.S. Open sectional qualifier in St. Louis.
Junior diary: Indy 500 and Open qualifier
I had a great week! With finishing up school, taking my finals, playing a few high school events, practicing all day and going to the Indy 500, my week was very eventful.
Junior diary: Prom is good, but golf is better
Being a high schooler, one of the most exciting events of the year is prom.
Junior diary: Making my college decision
I had a very eventful week as I made my college decision. I verbally committed to Stanford University. I am so excited to have made a decision as it was a very difficult and stressful process. However, it was a wonderful experience and I was very fortunate to have some great opportunities.
