Nick Thornton has given a verbal commitment to play college golf for Baylor in the fall of 2013. Thornton also made unofficial visits to Wake Forest, Duke, Clemson, Furman, Davidson, Stanford and Pepperdine.

Cameron Champ, a member of the 2012 Junior Ryder Cup team, has committed to Texas A&M for the fall of 2014. Champ calls Texas A&M “the total package.” He said he made unofficial visits to a number of other universities.

Carter Jenkins of Raleigh, N.C., has given a verbal commitment to play college golf at North Carolina-Greensboro. Jenkins choose UNCG after making just one other unofficial visit, to North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

Ben Skogen has given a verbal commitment to play college golf close to home at the University of Wisconsin. Skogen, who attends Onalaska (Wis.) High School in Onalaska, is the No. 2-ranked golfer in the state.

Jack Carter of New Albany, Ohio, has given a verbal commitment to play college golf at Iowa State.

Maty Monzingo has given a verbal commitment to play for Texas State in the fall of 2013. Monzingo is a senior at Byron Nelson High School in Trophy Club, Texas.

Ian Holt has given a verbal commitment to play for Kent State in the fall of 2014. Holt, a junior at Stow-Munroe Falls High School in Stow, Ohio, didn’t visit any other schools – he always knew he wanted to attend Kent State.

Katie Page, who plays for Sacred Heart Academy in Louisville, Ky., has given a verbal commitment to play college golf for SMU. Page is Golfweek’s top-ranked junior girl in Kentucky.

Matt Oshrine has given a verbal commitment to play college golf for Loyola of Maryland. Oshrine also took unofficial visits to Purdue, Michigan and Columbia, and also considered Rice and Illinois.

Isabella Skinner has given a verbal commitment to first-year Georgia head coach Josh Brewer. Skinner, who plays for West Forsyth High School in Cumming, Ga., will join the Bulldogs' roster in the fall of 2014.

Alex Levy has given a verbal commitment to Rice. Levy, of Austin, Texas, attends Stephen F. Austin High School.
