Thats almost a tragic story.. however, Tiger came back with an improved game, as do many golfers. I'm sure if you stick in there, not only will you come back healthy, you'll come back with an improved game.
That, sir, is quite a list of variables. I think the LPGA would be better to cut into two Tours like the PGA and Euro tours and use that model (they might already, but I mean they need to promote it that way) and go LPGA and Asian Tour . Then let players who succeed on the LPGA go play the Asian tour events and vice versa. Each could have their own rules and own profits. It seems like the LPGA should focus on getting more venues all together, while the Asian Tour could focus on getting bigger purses. Just a though... im a golf novice!
I don't know, but it seems like being the president immediately adds 20 years in appearance. That, or some lucky look-alike is getting to play golf posing as Obama, while Obama dreams up a way to Socialize the country.
Very nice blog, Golf Doc. Am I the only one around here that ENJOYS seeing Tiger curse and scream and kick and bash his Nike's all over the place? I love a good live telecast that isn't 5-sec delay/censored! Seeing Tiger act that way definitely makes me feel better when I do it out of instinct on the course. Not that I use it as an excuse, but it does let us mere mortals know we're not alone. Thanks for the post Doc, it was a good read.
I'm glad atleast some athletes show emotion. Sometimes after a big baseball win, the players just shake hands and walk off the field. I understand not rubbing it in, but big games are big games... show some emotion.. make the sport alive again! That goes for golf too.. if I see another half-assed fist pump from a guy who just won half a million dollars, I'm gonna start a riot or something!
I think the value of signature's went WAY down when EBAY came on the scene. Everyone started pimping "signed" stuff, with out authenticity. It was a real shame for memorabilia collectors (but not memorabilia sellers!)

Very powerful stuff, thanks for sharing it with us Dan.

President Obama looks out from his golf cart while playing on the second hole at the Farm Neck Golf

Sergio slips Sunday at Wyndham
I think Sergio is so over-rated. Ever since he "challenged Tiger" he hasn't done anything it seems.
