13. Florida State

2012-13 Golfweek ranking: 10

Go-to guy: Sophomore Hank Lebioda

Season outlook: The Seminoles have a tall task ahead as they try to replace three starters from a year ago: Chase Seiffert, Doug Letson and Daniel Berger, who decided to forego his junior year and turn pro.

Berger will be especially difficult to replace. He posted eight top-5 finishes last season, including two victories and three runners-up, one of which was a T-2 showing at the NCAA Championship.

Sophomores Hank Lebioda and Rowin Caron figure to lead the charge for Florida State. Lebioda was the Atlantic Coast Conference's Freshman of the Year last season, and he and Caron combined for 27 rounds of par or better in 54 total rounds as freshmen. Sophomore Collin Engelhardt, Lebioda’s high school teammate, should see more action this season, as will senior Joaquin Lolas.

Head coach Trey Jones said one major goal this fall will be to see what he can get out of a solid trio of freshmen: Jack Maguire, Josh Lee and Anthony Alex. Maguire is the younger brother of North Florida junior M.J. Maguire.

The Seminoles will be a young team, but one that has plenty of potential. With fall starts at Olympia Fields, the Brickyard Collegiate, Crooked Stick and Isleworth, FSU will grow up in a hurry.
