Rain has caused some issues at the opening round of The Barclays, but not before some good golf has been played at Liberty National. See images from Thursday's first round of the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup opener right here.
Have you caught it? You know, playoffs fever?
The PGA Tour has kicked off its FedEx Cup Playoffs, with Kevin Stadler taking the early lead amid a first-round delayed twice by rain and again by darkness with about half the field yet to complete the round.
Tiger Woods was among those who got their round finished, a 4-under 67 moving him to T-7 as things stand. Stadler's 64 has him a shot ahead of Ryan Palmer, Henrik Stenson and Camilo Villegas, all of whom finished as well. Jason Day and Matt Kuchar round out a top six full of big names.
Phil Mickelson finished six holes before taking an overnight break, a tap-in for birdie moving him to 1 under as the sun slid out of sight.
Check out our Thursday updates all day long from Liberty National, and scroll down to take a look at our pre-tournament coverage:

Update No. 6: 7:48 p.m.
Choosing to finish the par-5 No. 6, Phil Mickelson gets an eagle putt close and taps in for birdie to improve to 1 under as he heads to the clubhouse with 12 holes to finish tomorrow.
Everyone will have finished at least two holes today as they head in, with about half the field having finished their rounds.
• • •
Update No. 5: 7:43 p.m.
As the sun sinks along the horizon, Morgan Hoffmann sinks a birdie putt at the 18th to wrap up a 67 that moves him to T-8 at 4 under alongside Tiger Woods and five others, three shots back of leader Kevin Stadler. Playing in the same group as Hoffmann, Carl Petterson has a three-putt double bogey to drop to 3 under.
The horn sounds to stop play for the day, with players allowed to finish the hole they are on.
• • •
Update No. 4: 7:32 p.m.
Camilo Villegas finds the green in two at the par-4 18th and two-putts for par to put the wraps on a 66 that has him 6 under alongside Ryan Palmer and Henrik Stenson, one shot back of leader Kevin Stadler.
• • •
Update No. 3: 7:20 p.m.
Leader Kevin Stadler lags it close and raps it in for a two-putt par to close out a 64 that's good for the lead by a shot as he heads to the clubhouse. Naturally, it's far too early to say whether he'll lead at the end of the round tomorrow.
Rickie Fowler birdies the sixth hole to move to 1 under after starting the day with five pars.
• • •
Update No. 2: 7:16 p.m.
Leader Kevin Stadler, a shot ahead of Ryan Palmer, Henrik Stenson and Camilo Villegas, finds the 18th green with his approach but has left himself a long birdie try. Palmer and Stenson have signed for 65s while Villegas has parred the 17th.
• • •
Update No. 1: 7:07 p.m.
Phil Mickelson starts bogey-par-birdie and heads to No. 4 trying to hit for the cycle, baseball fans might say – but there's no hole-in-one eagle in store at the fourth tee, and he cards par to remain even par.
• • •
Hole No. 9: Par 4, 474 yards
One last hole for Tiger, who is bogey-free, and has missed four fairways and four greens.
Off the tee: Last tee ball of the day for Tiger finds the fairway.

Around the green: From a nasty lie, Tiger nestles his third shot about 5 feet past the hole.
On the green: Big up-and-down to save par for Tiger and wrap up an opening-round 4-under 67.

Second and third shots: After laying up in the fairway, Tiger wedges to about 15 feet.
On the green: Tiger's birdie try just misses the left edge and he'll settle for par.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 4 under thru 17 holes
Elsewhere on the course: Rory McIlroy wraps up an even-par 71 after a double bogey at No. 9, his final hole of the day. McIlroy had three double bogeys today, yet he's still at level par thanks to an eagle and four birdies. . . . Phil Mickelson, teeing off from No. 1 at 6:26 p.m., sent his tee ball right into the hazard to begin his round. He ends up with bogey on the hole. . . . A bogey by Camilo Villegas at No. 14 drops him back into a share of the lead with Kevin Stadler at 7 under.
• • •
Hole No. 7: Par 4, 467 yards
That missed fairway at No. 6 was just the third missed fairway for Woods today.
Off the tee: Tiger splits the fairway – with driver, too.

On the green: Two-putt par for Tiger after his birdie put stays right.

Elsewhere on the course: Camilo Villegas makes his eighth birdie of the day – fifth in his last six holes – and he's the solo leader at 8 under.
• • •
Hole No. 6: Par 5, 538 yards
Tiger doesn't look like a player who is 4 under and bogey-free, yet he has had several close calls on birdie putts, including at No. 5. He has four holes left, two of which are par 5s, including here at No. 6.
Off the tee: Tiger won't be able to go for this green in two after finding a right fairway bunker.
Second and third shots: After laying up, Tiger is just short of the green with his third shot. He'll have a good look at chipping it close, though, as the hole is located in the front portion of the green.
Around the green: Tiger putts this one and from about 20 feet he misses just left of the hole.
On the green: Tiger taps in for par.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 4 under thru 15 holes
Elsewhere on the course: Henrik Stenson birdies the par-5 sixth after just missing an eagle putt, and he's one back of the lead at 6 under. . . . Kevin Stadler joins Camilo Villegas in the lead at 7 under after a birdie at the par-5 13th.
• • •
Hole No. 5: Par 4, 427 yards
After his fourth birdie of the day, Tiger is still bogey-free on his round and is currently two shots off the lead.
Off the tee: With a fairway wood, Tiger splits the fairway.
Approach shot: Tiger finds the green, but he's 25 feet or so to the left of the hole.
On the green: The birdie roll slides by left of the hole and Tiger has to make a 4-footer for par.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 4 under thru 14 holes
Elsewhere on the course: Right before Tiger teed off on No. 5, Camilo Villegas made his fourth straight birdie, at No. 11, to move to 7 under. He leads outright. . . . • • •
Hole No. 4: Par 3, 183 yards
Tiger has had a couple nice up-and-downs to save par in a row, and now he'll get the final par 3 of the round.
Off the tee: Tiger gives this one a good swing and it ends up about 10 feet away from the hole.
On the green: A good look at birdie here, especially after Kuchar and Snedeker's putts from nearly the same line, and he drains it.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 4 under thru 13 holes
Elsewhere on the course: Camilo Villegas makes his third straight birdie, at No. 10, to move into a tie for the lead with Kevin Stadler at 6 under.
• • •
Hole No. 3: Par 4, 395 yards
Tiger is rolling along nicely today, making most of his short birdie putts and getting himself out of trouble.
Off the tee: Middle of the fairway for Tiger.
Approach shot: Tiger lands this on the front fringe, but it spins back and down the slope into the fairway cut.
Around the green: Tiger gets it up the big slope and onto the green about 6 feet short of the hole.

Off the tee: Tiger goes back to fairway wood and finds the fairway.
Approach shot: Tiger gets back to his pin-seeking ways, knocking his approach to about 12 feet.

TIGER ON THE DAY: 3 under thru 10 holes
Elsewhere on the course: Birdies at Nos. 1-2 have Henrik Stenson at 4 under through 11 holes.
• • •
Hole No. 18: Par 4, 490 yards
Tiger's birdie streak ends, but it was still a good birdie attempt at No. 17 by Tiger after the long delay. Now we'll see if the other parts of his game pick up where they left off – Tiger missed just one fairway in no greens in eight holes prior to the second delay.
Off the tee: Tiger opts for driver for the second time today, and like the first time, he pulls it left and onto the cart path.
Approach shot: Tiger takes a big cut, gets over the top of the ball a little and sends it left of the green. That results in him missing his first green of the round.
Around the green: From a severe downslope, Tiger chips to about 5 feet short of the hole.
On the green: Tiger has to get up-and-down to save par for the first time today, and he does.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 3 under thru 9 holes
Elsewhere on the course: Kevin Stadler birdies the par-5 eighth to move to 5 under through eight holes. He leads outright after that birdie.
• • •
Hole No. 17: Par 4, 445 yards
Tiger was facing a 20-footer for birdie at No. 17 before the horn sounded. Remember, Tiger has made three straight birdies, too.
On the green: Tiger returns from the long delay and gives this birdie try a good roll. It was on line, but just a tad short. Par for Woods.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 3 under thru 8 holes
Elsewhere on the course: Rory McIlroy drains a 15-footer at No. 1, his 10th hole, to move back to 1 under.

The weather-induced suspension of play at The Barclays wasn't the only delay in the New York area today. Hole No. 17: Par 4, 445 yards
Tiger now has three straight birdies, and it could have been four had it not been for a lip-out at No. 13. He's also hit his first seven greens and has missed just one fairway.
Off the tee: With fairway wood, Tiger finds another fairway.
Approach shot: After Tiger's approach lands on the green about 20 feet past the hole, the horn sounds for another weather delay.
• • •
Hole No. 16: Par 4, 325 yards
With two straight birdies, Tiger is now one off the early lead. Bad weather is about to roll through again, though, so Tiger's momentum could meet another delay. No. 16 is a short par 4, but with water all over on the right, Tiger probably will play it safe.
Off the tee: Scratch that last part. Tiger goes for the green with driver off the tee and it ends up just a little short and left of the green.
Approach shot: Decent chip by Tiger, who still has about 6 feet left for birdie.
On the green: Make it three straight birdies for Woods.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 3 under thru 7 holes

On the green: This time the short birdie putt drops.
TIGER ON THE DAY: 1 under thru 5 holes

• • •

Tiger has yet to miss a fairway or green, but he'll be tested at this par 5, where he'll likely hit driver for the first time today.
Off the tee: Tiger goes with the driver, and misses his first fairway. He pulled that one a good ways left.
Second shot: Tiger had to take a free drop after his ball ended up on the cart path. He then successfully lays up in the fairway.
Third shot: With wedge, Tiger sticks his third shot to within 5 feet.
On the green: First great look at birdie of the day, but Tiger can't capitalize. The birdie try lips out and Tiger settles for par.
TIGER ON THE DAY: Even thru 4 holes

Hole No. 10: Par 4, 496 yards
Tiger will tee off from tee No. 10 today as he plays alongside Brandt Snedeker and Matt Kuchar. After only playing nine full holes in Wednesday's pro-am because of a stiff neck and back, Tiger should be good to go today. • Off the tee: Tiger's tee ball finds the fairway.
• Approach shot: Tiger's approach lands on the front part of the green and he'll have a long birdie try coming up.
• On the green: The birdie try misses right of the hole, but Tiger makes the 2-footer for par.
