10. Arkansas

2012-13 Golfweek ranking: 11

Go-to guy: Senior Sebastian Cappelen

Season outlook: Arkansas will be a good team this year, but the real question is how good? With senior Sebastian Cappelen leading possibly the deepest roster head coach Brad McMakin has had in his eight years in Fayetteville, don’t be surprised to see this team a little closer to the nation's elite as the season progresses.

Joining Cappelen from last year’s team is senior Nicolas Echavarria, junior Thomas Sorensen and sophomore Taylor Moore. Also returning is sophomore Kolton Crawford, who redshirted last year after playing in every tournament for the Razorbacks as a freshman. Another player who should find playing time is senior transfer Blake Biddle, who was UNLV’s No. 2 player last season.

Last year, the Razorback finished 10th at the NCAA Championship, just shy of a playoff for the last spot into the Elite Eight of match play. With the loss of just one player (Austin Cook) from that lineup and the additions of Crawford and Biddle, Arkansas should be in position to make another run this season.
