Truslow leads by 2 at Junior Players Championship

Austen Truslow of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., maintained the lead after the second round of the AJGA’s Junior Players Championship.

Truslow fired a 3-under 67 on the Dye Valley course at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., after a first-round, 1-over 71. The first and final rounds are played on the Stadium course. On Sunday, the final round will have the same yardages and pin placements as the final round of the Players Championship in May.

In second place is Zachary Bauchou of Forest, Va., after rounds of 73-67. Bauchou sits two shots back of Truslow. In a tie for third are Aaron Terrazas of Veracruz, Mexico, and Cameron Young of Scarborough, N.Y. They are four shots back of Truslow at 2-over 142. Young is playing in his first AJGA event.
