USC notched a second straight tournament victory by winning the North Ranch Intercollegiate on Tuesday at North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, Calif.

The Trojans, who tied for the team title with Washington Feb. 20 at The Prestige, carried a 10-shot lead into the final round at North Ranch. But BYU closed the margin to three shots midway through the round Tuesday, only to see USC pull away down the stretch and secure a nine-shot victory.

Freshman Yi Keun Chang (2-under 211) took the medalist honor by one stroke over BYU's Zach Blair. He helped the Trojans close out the victory, rebounding from being 3 over through nine holes to shoot 1 under on the back nine. It was his first collegiate victory and fourth top 10 this season.

"He had a rocky start, to say the least," USC head coach Chris Zambri said, "but he came back super strong, and he closed well today. When the chips were down, he ends up playing 1 under on the back nine and wins by a shot."

Sam Smith, Jeffrey Kang, Anthony Paolucci and Ramsey Sahyoun finished T-15 or better for USC, which finished at 11-over 863 as a team.
