USC, Golfweek's top-ranked women's team, needed an extra hole to fend off No. 22 UCLA Tuesday at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate at English Turn Golf and Country Club in New Orleans.

The Trojans and Bruins each shot 4-over 580 through two rounds of the weather-shortened event before USC claimed the team title in the playoff.

No. 3 Duke (7-over 583), Tulane (589) and No. 10 Purdue (591) rounded out the top 5. No. 2 Alabama was T-7 while No. 5 Florida was T-10.

Baylor's Hayley Davis won the individual title, shooting 4-under 140 to win by two shots over UCLA's Lee Lopez, USC's Sophia Popov and Oklahoma State's Kelsey Vines, the No. 2-ranked player in the Golfweek/Sagarin women's individual rankings.
