As the top-ranked junior girl in the country, Alison Lee headlines the 12 players named to the U.S. Junior Solheim Cup team on Monday. Lee holds the top spot in the Golfweek Junior Rankings and the Polo Golf Rankings.

Five players qualified by their position in the Golfweek Junior Rankings, and five more qualified via the Polo Golf Rankings.

Lee, recent Rolex Tournament of Champions winner, will be joined by Nicole Morales, Casie Cathrea, Ashlan Ramsey and Casey Danielson, who also qualified because of a top-5 position in the Golfweek Rankings.

Bethany Wu, Karen Chung, Amy Lee, Andrea Lee and Samantha Wagner qualified from the Polo Golf Rankings.

Captain Kathy Whitworth selected Alexandra Kaui and Krystal Quihuis as captain’s picks.

The matches will be played Aug. 12-14 at The Inverness Golf Club in Englewood, Colo. The United States leads the series, 3-2-1.
