Final scores

Alison Lee, Golfweek’s top-ranked junior girl, claimed her third AJGA invitational title on Friday at the Rolex Girls Junior Championship. Lee broke out of a third-round tie with Karen Chung after a final-round 2-under 70 at Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Lee, who will play for UCLA in the fall, birdied Nos. 13 and 14 before finishing with four consecutive pars. Chung couldn’t keep pace, and birdied only No. 13 before parring the final five holes. Lee finished 72 holes at 7-under 281, and Chung finished one shot back.

“I knew that I had to take my time with each shot and not think about the score,” Lee said. “One by one, the putts were dropping in, I was hitting good shots and everything just fell into place very nicely.”

Lee also won the Annika Invitational and the Ping Invitational in 2012.

Abbey Carlson of Lake Mary, Fla., shot 65, the best round of the tournament, to climb into a tie for second with Chung. Carlson had nine birdies in her final round.
