The par-4 eighth hole is one of the most picturesque and stunning displays of Tom Doak's work at The Renaissance Club. Slightly uphill, the hole is has the combination of sand, trees and remnants of the stone wall that meanders throughout the property.

The fourth hole is the last amongst the trees for awhile. As you can see, Tom Doak has put a swale on the left front side of the green which will collect most short shots. This green is typical of the type of greens you will find at The Renaissance Club.

The beginnings of the North Sea immediately grab your attention as you walk the the ninth tee at Renaissance Club. Wind is a huge factor on how this holes plays, but the visual splendid of the hole takes your focus away a bit.

The 12th hole is clearly now the signature hole of the Renaissance Club. It's one of the new holes that was created and the views off the tee of the North Sea and the Fidra lighthouse provide a stunning backdrop to a hole that can play a yardage of 484 yards, which gets shorter or longer depending on the wind.
