Many of the first-day headlines at the Zurich Classic will be focused on a certain 14-year-old that will be teeing it up at TPC Louisiana.

But Tianlang Guan aside, there are plenty of big names that are looking for their first title of 2013.

Jason Dufner is the defending champ, but has yet to record a top 10 this season. Rickie Fowler is nearly a year removed from his first career victory. And then you have the most popular pick this week in Justin Rose, who was a favorite at the Masters before fading away on the weekend.

This week's field also includes cut-making machine Billy Horschel, the always-dangerous Keegan Bradley and former Zurich champ Bubba Watson.

As for our panel, Nick Masuda predicts his fourth winner of the season to extend his lead to just over $1.2 million over Lance Ringler. Jim McCabe had the biggest week at the RBC Heritage, picking both Graeme McDowell and Webb Simpson.

Take a look at our picks this week:

Rank Winner Wild Card Last Week
Rude Justin Rose

He's No. 4 in the world. He has 14 consecutive top-25 finishes worldwide, including four seconds mixed in. Plus he tied for 10th in New Orleans last year.

Charley Hoffman

Yes, he had the 54-hole lead last week at RBC Heritage and then shot 77 in the final round. That said, he has two straight top-6 finishes and three straight top-20s. In other words, he's in good form.

Winner: Brandt Snedeker ($12,644); wild card: Harris English (MC). 2013 total: $5,340,122

McCabe Rickie Fowler

Little apprehensive given his sloppy final-rounds of late, but his overall play has been solid and he was T-10 here a year ago.

Charles Howell III

Has played consistently well no matter where they've teed it up in New Orleans.

Winner: Webb Simpson ($626,400) ; wild card: Graeme McDowell ($1,044,000). 2013 total: $4,844,820

Martin Justin Rose

Rose finished 10th at last year's Zurich Classic and has finished in the top 25 in 14 consecutive worldwide events.

Cameron Tringale

Tringale has finished in the top 30 in three of his past four starts, and has finished T-7 and T-18 in the past two Zurich Classics.

Winner: Brandt Snedeker ($12,644) ; wild card: Boo Weekley ($19,720). 2013 total: $2,689,248

Ringler Billy Horschel

Has been very close in last three starts finishing in top 10 each time. Horschel is ranked No. 26 in Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index and form suggests he is a weekend contender.

Jordan Spieth

Confidence is high coming off his third top-10 finish this year on the PGA Tour, a T-9 at Harbour Town.

Winner: Jim Furyk ($19,720); wild card: Kevin Streelman ($336,400). 2013 total: $5,324,314

Masuda Jason Dufner

It's not often that a player repeats as champ, but the Dufman has owned TPC Louisiana and he is looking for his first top 10 of the season. Biggest question: Will we see some #Dufnering if he wins?

Jordan Spieth

Leaving school early to take his chances on Tour was a risk. But it has paid off with three top-10s already.

Winner: Brandt Snedeker ($12,644); wild card: Graeme McDowell ($1,044,000). 2013 total: $6,590,311
