The Quakers made history April 25 at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, N.J., winning its first Ivy League Championship with a wire-to-wire, 22-shot victory over runner-up Yale. Penn, which entered at No. 108 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings, jumped out to a five-shot lead over No. 57 Harvard in the first round, and continued to build its margin of victory. Penn closed in 19-over 307, the best round of the tournament, for a 65-over 929 total.
