A week after opening the season with a 16th-place finish at the Mason Rudolph Women’s Championship, Oklahoma State rebounded with a victory.
The Cowgirls won the Johnie Imes Invitational on Tuesday, closing with a tournament-best 4-under 284 at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia, Mo. OSU finished at 1-under 863, 15 shots ahead of runners-up Colorado (291) and Oklahoma (290).
Sophomore teammates Courtney McKim and Victoria Park finished at 4-under 212 to earn co-medalist honors. Park made seven birides in a bogey-free 65, while McKim shot a bogey-free, career-best 68 in Round 2.
Sophomore Hillary Wood (220) tied for ninth.
Oklahoma State is No. 45 in the Golfweek/Sagarin College Rankings.
Oklahoma’s Ellen Mueller and Colorado’s Jessica Wallace tied for third at 3-under 213.
