The Golfweek Junior Tournament Series will consist of seven events in 2017, all nationally ranked by Golfweek/Sagarin and National Junior Golf Scoreboard and all holding AJGA PBE status. The flagship event is the International Junior Invitational, which takes place the first weekend in November and is annually among the top-rated fields in junior golf. The winner of any Golfweek Junior Invitational event is granted an automatic invitation to the International event regardless of ranking status.
The biggest change for 2017 is formation of a 3-person team event for the Southeastern Junior event. A one-of-a-kind junior event will allow players to form their own 3-person teams and play in a collegiate-style format.
As dates and venues are set, the following schedule will be updated. Please see below for an explanation of how invitations are secured.
