President Donald Trump returned to the golf course this weekend for the 13th time since taking the oath of office on Jan. 20.
Trump held three meetings at Trump National Golf Club in Northern Virginia Sunday and spent Saturday at golf club “meetings,” a spokesman said via pool reports.
The White House wouldn’t say Saturday whether Trump played golf during his nearly 4½-hour visit. Images on social showed Trump in golf clothes and in a golf cart.
Sunday, he was apparently watching the Golf Channel.
Any golf at Trump National in Virginia would mark first time in Trump’s presidency he has teed off outside of South Florida.
Former President Barack Obama was often criticized by Trump for playing frequently.
According to CBS News White House Correspondent Mark Knoller, Obama played 333 rounds as president.
This is the eighth weekend in a row President Trump has visited a property that bears his name. He has done so on 21 of the 66 days he has been in office, according to the Washington Post. That translates into the equivalent of three weeks of his just-over-nine weeks as commander in chief, he has spent all or part of a day at a Trump property.
