AUGUSTA, Ga. – After the seventh hole at Augusta National hadn’t seen an eagle in competition in five years, there’s now been two in two days.
Kevin Chappell holed out for eagle at the par 4 from 131 yards on Saturday and Marc Leishman has added to the tally a day later.
The Aussie came to the hole Sunday at 1 over for the round and 10 over for the tournament. Not great vibes, but then Leishman got a nice moment.
From 149 yards out, Leishman jarred the shot for an eagle.
The leaders still aren’t off for some time, but already we’re seeing some fireworks on Masters Sunday.
