Houston Open Tracker

UPDATE No. 11 (6:28 p.m. ET): Poulter lags to a couple of feet after Hossler knocks his fifth shot about 15 feet by the pin. Hossler misses his double bogey putt. After Hossler taps in for triple, Poulter cleans up for par to win the Houston Open!

UPDATE No. 10 (6:22 p.m. ET): Wow. Beau blades that one into the water. He has to hole out to make bogey. This is Poulter’s to lose now.

UPDATE No. 9 (6:17 p.m. ET): Hossler goes from bunker to bunker, as he flails his second shot right into a right greenside bunker. Poulter with the advantage, and … that’s conservative. But he has about 40 feet for birdie. Advantage: Poulter.

UPDATE No. 8 (6:13 p.m. ET): The first playoff hole is the 18th. Off the tee: Poulter goes into the right rough. Hossler is in the right bunker.

UPDATE No. 7 (6:04 p.m. ET): What. A. Putt.

Ian Poulter drains a 20-footer for birdie at the 72nd hole to force a playoff with Beau Hossler. Poults is still unbelievably clutch.

UPDATE No. 6 (5:16 p.m. ET): Hossler, four birdies in a row. Another one at the 15th moves him to 19 under and one shot ahead. What a run!

UPDATE No. 5 (5 p.m. ET): Hossler is a gamer, folks. He’s tied for the lead after this long putt.

UPDATE No. 4 (4:50 p.m. ET): Beau Hossler makes a fantastic short-sided save for birdie at the 13th, and he’s now just one shot back of Poulter at 17 under.

UPDATE No. 3 (4:26 p.m. ET): Ian Poulter birdied No. 8 to move to 18 under and is still there after following a bogey at the ninth with a birdie at No. 11. He leads by two over Jordan Spieth after Spieth birdied the 16th.

UPDATE No. 2 (3:12 p.m. ET): Ian Poulter birdies three of his first six to move to 17 under. He now leads by three over Matt Kuchar, Beau Hossler, Paul Dunne and Sam Ryder.

UPDATE No. 1 (2:05 p.m. ET): Here. Comes. Jordan.

Spieth goes birdie-eagle at Nos. 3 and 4 to move to 13 under and within one of the lead! Ian Poulter then birdies the second, though, to move to 15 under. Beau Hossler is one back and Spieth now sits two behind.
