UPDATE NO. 3 (9 p.m. ET): Your recap for the day…

UPDATE NO. 2 (6:40 p.m. ET): Well, that lead might hold up. Michael Kim and Andrew Putnam went out early and posted at 13 under through 36 holes. Their lead is one over Kevin Kisner and Scott Brown. Nate Lashley and Rob Oppenheim, who have four holes to play, are at 11 under and could catch them.

The cut looks like it will come in at 5 under (top 35 teams and ties make the weekend). Jordan Spieth and Ryan Palmer shockingly look like they could miss out. They double bogey each of their final two holes in the alternate shot format to post a 2-over 74 and drop from 8 under to 4 under. What a stunning turn.

UPDATE NO. 1 (12:50 p.m. ET): It’s alternate shot today in NOLA, and we have new leaders at the moment. Many groups still have to tee off, but Michael Kim and Andrew Putnam are on top at the moment.
