5:45 p.m.: Kevin Na just went crazy on his final hole of the day. Missed way left of the ninth green and chipped in for birdie from about 30 yards out to grab the solo lead. That capped an 8-under 62 for Na, who now leads Charley Hoffman by one stroke. Six birdies and an eagle with no bogeys. That’s living under par.

4:55 p.m.: Birdie for Kevin Na at the par-4 sixth, his 15th hole of the day, to catch outright leader Charley Hoffman and grab a share of the lead at 7 under. Played well a week ago in Dallas, so the Las Vegas resident is clearly comfortable in Texas. Scott Stallings also making a move at 5 under through 10 and Beau Hossler is 5 under through 14.

4 p.m.: Let’s get you caught up to speed with Golf Channel live coverage now underway. Charley Hoffman has the low round of the day so far and leads outright after a 7-under 63. Seven birdies, no bogeys and a crisp round of golf. Emiliano Grillo, Jhonattan Vegas, Andrew Putnam and Kevin Na are T-2 at 6 under and 51-year-old Steve Stricker is just two shots off the lead after a 5-under 65. As for the big, big names, Jordan Spieth shot 1-under 69 and is T-40. Rickie Fowler is T-12 after a 3-under 67 and Jon Rahm shot 2-under 68. Webb Simpson is 1 over through 8 in his first start since the Players Championship.
