There’s a lot of money to be made in professional golf. Eight golfers have won more than $50 million in their PGA Tour careers and all 18 on this list have surpassed the $40 million mark in career earnings.
Matt Kuchar joined the $50 million club with his T-52 finish in the 2019 BMW Championship.
With that in mind, let’s look at the top money earners of all-time (as measured by on-course winnings).
This list is updated through the 2019 BMW Championship.
Sergio Garcia and Kuchar swapped places in our list after 2019 U.S. Open play at Pebble Beach Golf Links, with Kuchar moving into eighth and Garcia slipping to ninth. No spots have changed since.
Up next: The Northern Trust and the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
18. Jordan Spieth, $40,142,264
Jordan Spieth has not won a PGA Tour event since the 2017 British Open, so might not be a total surprise that he sits in the No. 18 spot on our list. For one, he has 11 wins on the PGA Tour and 14 professional wins overall, three majors, and was once ranked as No. 1 player in the world — all of this success came before he turned 26. Spieth’s career has hit a crossroad. How much more he moves up this list will be determined by how quickly and substantially he can turn his game around.
