NCAA champion Oklahoma State is among the top college men’s golf teams set to play in The Prestige, which will be shown via livestream on Golfweek.com for the first time.
Golfweek’s exclusive livestream coverage begins Feb. 19 for the tournament’s second round and culminates with the final round Feb. 20. Veteran broadcasters Will Haskett and Steve Scott will call the action, with Golfweek’s Lance Ringler providing interviews and analysis. Audiences can tune in at Golfweek.com/ThePrestige on Feb. 19-20 to watch.
Viktor Hovland and Matthew Wolff (pictured above) lead Oklahoma State, with Hovland having won the East Lake Cup in October. Wolff made the cut two weeks ago at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, finishing in a tie for 50th.
In its 19th year, The Prestige presented by Charles Schwab will be played at the Greg Norman course at PGA West in Southern California’s Coachella Valley. Fifteen of the top college teams in the nation are set to compete.
“It’s been a lot of fun to watch this event grow over its 19-year history, and to now see it being livestreamed while partnering with Golfweek and Charles Schwab is quite incredible,” said UC Davis head coach Cy Williams. “We’re proud to host one of the strongest fields in college golf at PGA West, considered by many to be one of the top golf destinations in the world. It doesn’t get much better than this.”
The Prestige traditionally boasts a strong field, and many past players have gone on to successful careers on the PGA Tour, including Jon Rahm, Xander Schauffele, Gary Woodland, Brandt Snedeker, Luke Donald, Patrick Rodgers and Kevin Chappell.
Below are the teams that will compete this year:
- East Tennessee State
- Iowa State
